' This will be a complete version of our engine, including C++ code access, our content exporters (including our LiveCreate real-time pipeline), shader code, game sample code from Crysis 2, script samples, new improved Flowgraph and a whole host of great asset examples, which will allow teams to build complete games from scratch for PC,' said Yerli. This dev kit will also be free to use for non-commercial products. In August Crytek will then roll-out a full CryENGINE 3 dev kit for more advanced users. These tools will allow people to create new maps, items and other in-game content. The confirmation came in an open letter from Crytek CEO Cervat Yerli, where he said that the basic modding tools would be ready by early Summer. Crytek has confirmed that it will soon release free modding tools for Crysis 2, as well as a full CryENGINE 3 developer's kit further down the line.
